We had a great time. Jared had to go for a lunch meeting for work and so I just tagged along. We stayed at the Sheraton Manhattan hotel right on Times Square. It was a perfect location for walking to practically everything. Jared & I had a ball even though it was so, so cold...we bundled up and stayed warm. The most enjoyable thing was going to a show every night. We saw Momma Mia, Mary Poppins, & In the Heights. We loved Momma Mia way better then the movie, Mary Poppins was incredible, and In the Heights was not so much our favorite...which was the most expensive one of all. We rode the subway everywhere, shopped 5th ave., toured the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island. It was a trip I'll never forget! We missed our kids...Jared's mom watched the kids the first two nights and and my mom took the second shift. The kids had a great time with their Grandma's but I couldn't believe how home sick they got for us...especially Dallin & Ellie. Towards the end they just sobbed on the phone to us. Really sweet. It was a wonderful reunion once we were all together again.

I shopped the 3 story American Girl store for over an hour...it was soooo cute!

The first night we got there we had to get a slice of NY cheesecake...oh it was sooo creamy!
We ate one every night we were there!
Coming out of our hotel...Jared was off to his meeting and I was planning an adventure of my own...kindof scary!

What made you want to eat at the czech restaurant? We are going to NYC in aug. and need all the suggestions possible. You look adorable also.
I love New York. I've only bee there with girlfriends (which is great fun!) But i would love to go with my husband. Since I live in 26 degree weather I think id first rather go somewhere warm!! Looks like you guys had a ball.

I want to go to New York so bad. I can't get Danjee to want to go there. He still needs to grow up a little bit, so he can appreciate it. He only wants to go places we can play (surf, scuba, snowboard, etc.) I loved your pictures and you look beautiful!
How fun! This is one of the most fun cities to visit. The shows sounded awesome, what a great couples trip. And you do make cold look beautiful!

JILL!! Oh my gosh, you look like a freaking model in all of those pictures!! You have to frame the one of you in Times Square- did anyone stop you and ask who you were? :) It looked like you guys had a BLAST!
