Looking at this picture you would think these children were doing some "time out" or something. Well that is not the case at all, in fact they placed themselves there on purpose. After Dallin had returned home from scouts yesterday I showed that kids these 2 walls that Audrey had colored on earlier that day. I told them I scrubbed & scrubbed but the crayon wouldn't come off. All of them were VERY concerned...(this has NEVER happened in the Everton household) Dallin was the most distraught about this and told the younger kids to stand against the wall because Daddy would be home soon. Dallin thought Jared would be mad so I reassured Dallin and the others it would be fine and I would paint over it when I got a chance. Dallin & the kids still wouldn't budge. They were convinced that their Daddy would be upset and they wanted to cover the markings.Well...Jared walked in the door a minute or two later and this is what he found. Ellie was the first to spill the beans and Dallin was beside himself. But then, Dallin realized that his Dad wasn't mad at all and they finally unattached themselves from the wall and we all had a good laugh.

Nathanial has been coloring on our walls A LOT lately and I use a Magic Eraser and the crayon comes right off!
That is the cutest thing I have ever seen. I love it. We miss you guys!
Okay that cracked me up. How nice of Jared not to punish his adorable one year old. But how funny Dallin is and his ideas. I love that Zach and Ellie played right along. Oldest kids have such influence on the little ones. Dallin looks handsome in his scout uniform. I need a school picture of him in it!
Cute story. Even a Magic Eraser didn't work??? What kind of crayons are those? I'll be sure not to buy 'em! ;)
Love it!!! What a funny story!! The kids all look so cute...even when they are scared for their lifes!!!
