My brother Blake got home from his mission from Peru this past weekend. Jared (my husband) shaved an UGLY mustache...it's hard to see but it came down to his chin. I can hardly type mustache without getting the shivers!!! He thought it would be funny to see Blake's reaction to his new style...mustache, hat, & sideburns. (oh, my)Anyways...Blake says he didn't notice, but all of us couldn't look at him without cracking up.
My Mom was so happy to see him...we all were...but I love this look on her face. What an exciting moment!
The kids made these posters and were so excited to see their cool uncle!
It's so good to have Blake home!
Here we are...Blake got released, and Jared finally shaved!
A celebration for Blake wouldn't be complete without going to Fuddruckers!!!
Here we are...Blake got released, and Jared finally shaved!
Blake is still the amazing, fun, kind, athletic, and handsome brother that I've always known.
But...here are some things that were different:
1. Blake has the tan I've always dreamed of.
2. Blake's weight makes me feel very uncomfortable about my own weight.
3. His accent is very interesting...I can almost understand everything he says.
4. He is way more talkative and outgoing than before.
5. He is even more tall, dark, and handsome! The girls at BYU Idaho will be fighting over him!
Welcome home, Blake!
We love you!

What sweet endearing pictures. I got teary eyed looking at the picture with your mom and Blake. I can't believe he is home already. He looks so happy and way tan. Jealous. Cute adorable family and I just still love your stylish haircut.
Oh...I love those pictures...I wish I could have been there. Wouldn't trade the awesome trip we had, but it would have been neat to see him. Blake looks awesome...skinny, but awesome. I am so glad you posted these pictures, cause I was wondering how he looked. Jared is hilarious. What a goof to shave a nasty cowboy mustache. At least he hasn't dressed up like an elf yet. I still need to give Craig crap about that one. Love you and miss you!
so fun that your brother is home!!! mine just hit 6 months mark, what a great things for our boys to see such great examples!!
