sunburn + 9 months prego = excruciating pain

On Saturday we went swimming like most Saturdays.  It was cool and breezy...maybe 90 degrees. I lathered up the sunscreen on the kids, Jared, and myself.  Except I forgot one thing...my legs!  Oh my poor legs! I found a perfect spot on a comfy raft and plopped my pregnant self down. It seemed like a fabulous day to me because it was too cold to get in, but just right on a floating raft with a little splash here and there. The kids swam for hours and I just enjoyed soaking up a little sun covered by some shady clouds.  Jared went inside with Audrey because it was getting too cold...but no, I just sat on that darn raft in the exact same position. Well, hours later inside we go and I start to see my legs turn not just pink but fire red!

Well the rest is history...and yes I'm very uncomfortable.  I had my last dr's appointment today. I was very nervous to hear what he would say when seeing my ultra bright red legs.  Well...here it goes this is what he said, "oh my, I'm not sure if you're a human or a lobster"!  Poor me :(

The good news is he put me on the schedule at the hospital to be induced this Thursday. (he called and got me in last week after my visit with him to insure me a spot)

The bad news is my sunburn might not be gone and I have no idea what sunburn + labor ='s?

Stay tuned for pictures of BABY...and pray for me :)

What no picture?!! There is nothing worse then being really sunburned!! Just use LOTS of aloe. I'm sure when your in labor you wont even remember the sunburn!!
