I can't believe I'm 30 years old!!! Could life just pause for awhile...and never let me get any older? I can remember when I turned 20...it was our first year of marriage and we had just moved to San Diego to start Law School. That just seems like yesterday! Wow, I don't think I realized how fast 10 years go by. I really hope that I can enjoy my 30's as much as I did my 20's.
I had a wonderful 30th birthday. 3 celebrations and one more tomorrow with some friends. I think I'll be partied out after tomorrow and be ready to stick to a diet again. I was thinking...what if I decide to eat no chocolate or ice cream in my 30's...or exercise 6 times a week. Or never eat another sweet. I really want to think of a realistic goal for my 30th year.
My 1st party was with Jared's side of the family on Sunday. We had a yummy dinner, turtle pie, and they gave me 30 gifts...All individually wrapped! I've never opened so many gifts in my life!!! Ellie lined them up after I opened them all. She was so proud of herself (so I took a picture)!
My 2nd party was with my side of the family on Monday. We had a wonderful dinner, and cookies with ice cream. They had a guessing game all about my favorite things. It was a lot of fun!
My 3rd party was with Jared. He got off work at noon and we went to Oregano's for lunch, and went shopping!!!
I was completely spoiled this birthday. Thanks everyone for making it so great!

Happy birthday! No chocolate or ice cream for 10 whole years??? That's no fun! Maybe no chocolate or ice cream on Wednesdays for 10 years :) The 30 gifts for 30 years is such a cute idea.

Happy Birthday, Jill! It looks like you had some great celebrations. I think the 30s will be even better than the 20s. We now don't have an excuse not to get together...we each only have one child at home(at least for 1/2 a day).

I think the 30's are awesome (so far) although I was NOT happy about coming into them a couple of years ago. I hope your day was great (it looks like it was) and I hope your presents arrives soon. Sorry i didn't get it off in time, but you can pretty much expect that from me with my track record. I was thinking of you though. Love you tons ...see you in NOV.
