We took the kids skiing at Targhee while we were in Idaho visiting Todd & Jan's family. I love this picture with their cousins, Nate & Megan...who they miss terribly. Jan stayed home with Ellie & Audrey, thanks Jan! Todd and my Mom went skiing too. We put the kids in classes for the day. Definitely the way to go!

Talking to their nice instructor. Literally she was the most patient person I have ever met. I think I would hate her job. It was so nice to put the first lesson in someone else's hands. I think the boys did better without their Mom & Dad.
Here is Jared & I at the very top (or at least as high as I would go)!!! I have to say I was terrified. I used to be afraid of heights, but I think I'm getting a little braver. You should of seen me at the Grand Canyon during my teenage years...very frighting. It was so beautiful at the top, I can't even explain with words. I saw sparkles at the top, I think it was the sun reflecting off the snow, but it was every sparkly up there. Ellie would of loved it! It was a perfect day of skiing!
My mom stuck by me most of the time. And, Jared & Todd amazed me with their abilities!
Jared kept saying to me, "I'm so proud of you honey". He gave me the courage to keep trying. He is so wonderful. A day I will never forget.

you ARE brave jill! just looking at the picture of you and jared on the top of the mountain made my stomach have butterflies. skiing up so high is scary for me too. i get so nervous just looking down the ski runs that i have to go down! cute pictures.
Jill, I want a copy of that picture of you and I on the ski hill. I love your blog! You do a great job. I'm proud of you!
