Dallin was so excited to put together his spotlight poster for school. We had a lot of fun, and it brought back lots of memories going through all our pictures.
I need to figure out how to put all of our photos in books. (my photos are getting out of control!!!) The digital ones I would like to make a book online...but for the stacks of pictures that have been developed...what should I do??? Should I place them by date, or by child? I'm very curious what everyone else does? If you can, please give me some ideas what you do to stay so organized.

I'm dealing w/the same photo problem right now. What I PLAN to do is scan all my prints so I have everything digital. I save w/the date first then everyone's name listed and then the place. It gets tedious but it's nice when you're looking for a picture. So it's like "20070630 Shauna, Owen, Drew at Onslow Beach" I use Picasa so you can find a picture file using any key word. If I wasn't going to scan everything I would just do one huge album in chronological order cause you'll have so much overlap with the kids... like whose album does the picture of Dallin and Audrey go in? Is that a long enough answer for you? :)
I am going to a fun girls night in the coming weeks that is all about what to do with ALL your pictures. They are trying to sell a product that scrapbooks all your digital pictures for you. I will have to see if it is all that they are saying it is and let you know. I know that you can order the books when you are done if you want them.
Mine are almost all digital- and un-printed but I have a couple of those photo boxes filled. One idea I heard that I really liked was to put them all in those albums with the pockets that you just slide in you know and then pull out your very favorites for scrapbooks for the kids to keep one day. Shutterfly makes some awesome books- you can just select the pictures and let them plug them into a book, or you can play with it and make it how you want it. Good luck!!
