The Scooby Doo Gang

We SURVIVED Halloween!!! This was the first time Jared & I have ever dressed up. The kids came up with the idea months ago to be the Scooby doo gang. . .soooo we just went with it. I usually dread Halloween, but this year it wasn't bad at all. The kids all dressed themselves, except for Audrey of course. The costumes were simple and nothing was itchy. The only thing I had to beg Ellie to wear was the green scarf. We also bought a shaggy wig, but Zachary never wanted to wear it. Oh well, Jared's wig made up for it!!! HA,HA,HA (Jared didn't want to wear it either but I made him!!!)

We had a ward Halloween carnival on Saturday. Each Family was in charge of a booth. We had a fishing booth and gave out real goldfish. The kids had fun with it. Jared ran the booth the whole time because "quite frankly" fish gross me out! Jared was so tired by the end of the night. We bought 100 goldfish to give out and only came home with 4. I thought that was pretty good. Sadly to say we have lost two. Gabriella & Troy are still kicking.

On Halloween night we went Trick or Treating. Dallin came home from school and said "Mom, we have to do our neighborhood and then go to like 4 more neighborhoods so we can get a lot of candy!" So I guess I realized that going down our street and back isn't going to cut it this year! We did go for quite awhile and then Dallin went back out for more.
So, I have to say Halloween was a success this year! The kids had a lot of fun!

The kids got to see their cousins on Halloween! Sophie was a Rock star, Gracie was a witch, Maggie was Cinderella, Lillie was a cheerleader, and Hannah was a Hershey Kiss. So Cute!
