Our kids were quite excited to stay in pj's and watch Conference this weekend. They kept saying..."mom, isn't this great that we don't have to hurry and get ready for church!" I have to say, I enjoyed it to pieces. With Jared in the Bishopric and 8 a.m. church, Sunday mornings are a little more stressful for me. (I have no idea how I'm going to do it when baby #5 comes?)
The kids filled out two conference packets each and had a lot of fun the first session. They kept saying, "conference is the greatest ever!!!" The kids played with cousins durning the 2nd session. On Sunday they watched really well...especially Dallin. He sat by my side and through the whole thing asking questions and we tried to guess what subject each speaker would talk about. He loved the one about keeping our home clean and tidy like the temple. He suggested we clean it as soon as conference was over. Got to love that!
Audrey was in heaven going from Jared's lap to mine. It's not too often that her mom & dad just sit around for 8 hours giving her loves. It's so cute how once she gets close she turns around and backs up so I'll pick her up and plop her on my lap. Both of my girls have been lap sitters and always very content to sit and be still. I love it...and have to cherish every moment I can.
Zach was bound and determined to complete his packet first. He loved the word searches. I worked on a few with him and every time I found one he would say..."wow, you're good!"
Ellie knows all her letters now, so she was able to join in the fun too. She loved having me by her side and kept saying, "this is so fun mom!"

That's great that your family loves conference and looks forward to it! Kids usually pick up the attitudes of their parents. The conference packets made it so fun for them, too. Love, MOm
I agree. I love conference weekend. It is one of the most relaxing weekends. I think they should have it once a month. I love your nesting phase. Everything looks great.

That is so darling! I love your house updates! I cannot belive you are 8 months pregnant! I am 2 months behind ya! Isn't conference the best! I love being able to stay in my pjs too! SOOO FUN!
