Our Christmas Snowflakes!

This project brought back so many memories. Jan reminded me of this tradition we had as kids. Every year we would decorate all our windows with paper snowflakes.

We stayed up until 10:00 last night making our snowflakes. They are so fun to look at and the kids had a blast making them.

Zachary was so cute. His favorite part was to unfold the snowflake after it had been cut. He would go hide behind the couch so no one else could see it but him. Then he would be excited to show everyone.

Since it doesn't snow in Arizona, it's fun to look out our window and see these beautiful snowflakes! I think this will be a tradition we will do each year.

The kids wanted to show their favorite snowflake that they made.

Awesome!!! Yours turned out even better than mine! Wasn't it fun? That is funny you guys all had your favorites and named them because we did too. We have a crab snowflake and a heart snowflake, etc. That is funny Zach would hide to open it. Nate would call attention and then say, "I am ready to unveil my snowflake," and we all had to stop everything and watch. That is the funnest part. Glad you had a good time. Christmas's get funner every year!

Those are awesome! My favorite is the one that looks kind of like a daisy near the top left corner. Did you use special scissors or tools for those?

Your snowflakes are beautiful. I should do that with my kids since we will never have a white Christmas here in Southern California.
