For Veteran's Day this year we went down town Mesa to the Parade. Jared's firm is right there behind us and he came down to watch the parade with us. I have to say it was not the most exciting parade...no candy or cool floats. Come to think of it...I think Malad, Idaho puts together a better parade than this one. 
This picture made me laugh because here I am with all the children and Jared is on his cell phone in the background. Classic!
My favorite part was the Mt. View H.S. band. I grew up listening to this band every morning at 6:00 a.m. Our home backed up to the high school and we would wake up to their music every morning. It brought back a lot of memories.

We need some AZ weather with lots of sunshine. It is starting to get cold! Parades aren't that exciting anyway. Other than the candy. Way to pay tribute to all the Veterans.
Your food spread looks divine. So thoughtful to throw a shower for your friend. Everyone needs a good friend.
i laughed at the picture of jared on his phone in the background. it seems like i always am going crazy with all the kids while louie is off talking too. that's a good picture.
